2022 Club Membership and Thunder Supporter Packs

SWQ Thunder FC is continuing club membership in 2022 by including Ordinary membership as a part of the player registration process. Ordinary membership will be included in player registration fees. Initial membership applications are subject to approval by the Board as per the club's constitution.

Each group of players receive different benefits as outlined below:  

SAP U9-12 and NPL U13-18 Teams only 

The Primary Contact (parent/guardian) will receive ordinary membership benefits and a Thunder Supporter Pack as a part of this player registration. The 2022 Thunder Supporters Packs contains a variety of member benefits, including one discounted supporter wear item ($25 discount off one of four available supporter wear items). 

NPL U23 and Senior Men and Women 

These senior players receive ordinary membership as a part of their player registration, however DO NOT receive a Thunder Supporters Pack.

 

 

SWQ Thunder FC Ordinary Membership

Ordinary membership entitles members to vote in all SWQ Thunder meetings and nominate to be elected as a Director on the SWQ Thunder FC Board.  Only adults (18 years of age or older) are eligible to become an ordinary member of the club. 

Membership applications for senior players and all Primary Contacts (main parent/guardian of junior players) are completed as a part of the Majestri player registration process each year.

Club supporters and other adult family members of players (other than the primary contact) are able to apply and pay for membership through a dedicated online 2022 Ordinary Club Membership Application Form in Majestri.  Membership applications can occur with or without the inclusion of a Thunder Supporters Pack.  

All membership applications must be approved by the Board.  Members will receive email confirmation of their acceptance as an ordinary member of SWQ Thunder FC.   Each member will be allocated a unique membership number.

Thunder Supporters Packs

Thunder Supporters Packs were a new initiative of the SWQ Thunder FC Board in 2021.  These supporters packs are designed to:

 

• Maximise the SWQ Thunder FC brand within the local community, enabling greater exposure for current and future sponsors   

• Enable visibility of our spectators at all junior and senior games   

• Encourage attendance and crowd support at Thunder senior games

• Provide value for membership and encourage active connection to SWQ Thunder FC, potentially converting supporters into club members

 

The Primary Contact (parent/guardian) of all junior players will receive a Thunder Supporters Pack included in their child's player registration.  Other adult family members of players and general club supporters can choose to include a Thunder supporters pack when applying for membership. 

Thunder Supporters Pack (valued at $90) includes:

 

 

• Complimentary ordinary membership (new members only)  

• $25 off a Thunder Supporters Wear item (Soft shell jacket, club polo, cap or scarf) during player registration). 

• Thunder FC water bottle

• Thunder FC metal key ring

• Thunder FC bumper sticker

• Thunder FC stubbie cooler

• Thunder FC fridge magnet

• Thunder FC TOTE bag

• 2 free adult tickets for member to SWQ Thunder home game at Clive Berghofer Stadium. (non-transferrable)  

• 2 free drink vouchers for member at the can bar at SWQ Thunder home game at Clive Berghofer Stadium. (non-transferrable) 

• Chance to win other exciting membership prizes drawn throughout the year
